It's getting close now, keep praying

excitement, fear, sadness, irritability, joy, peace, happiness (shall I go on) we've experienced all of the above in the last few days. Our time to leave approaches and we are sad to leave friends and loved ones but we are excited for God to do something through us in NZ. The excitement of pouring into the lives of students where God has called us exhilarates us but reminds us of those lives that have touched us so deeply. If God is true to his Character, and we know He is, then He will take care of us all the way there. Many of you are praying for us so pray for relationships, details of shipping all our belongings, finances, a home in NZ, a car, friends for us and the kids and as easy a transition as is possible. We pray for the new leader here in Pullman that he will love "our kids" as we have loved them. We pray for "our kids" we haven't even met which are so far away but so close to our hearts. So... pray us on through on this next step in our journey of faith.

We made it out in Time

Much to our surprise earlier this week we found out that we had to be out of our house 5 days earlier than we thought. So we had until tonight June 6 at 9pm to be out. With the help of lots of our friends we made it by 8:30. It is exciting to think of the future but bittersweet as we remember all the memories we have in that place. Good thing we take those with us. We are seriously considering becoming minimalists after sorting all that junk.

Things are moving along

We it's hard to believe how fast things are moving. The house sold in 2 days, we were able to find homes for our 3 cars. We sold some of our stuff, packed lots and lots of boxes, sent emails, filled out forms, been poked and prodded, been finger printed and investigated and there's still so much to left to do. God is really taking care of us and this has once again been an exercise of faith.

We are moving to New Zealand!!!

We received the skype call from New Zealand, and they want us to come. We are excited and sad at the same time. We will miss all our friends and family (goofy youth included) tremendously. We won't leave Pullman until the house sells, we get visas, and the kids have passports. We will keep you updated on our comings and goings via this blog.
